Vision of the Higher Education Institutions Center for Graduate Tracking

The Center supports the governance of the higher education system in Vietnam by running surveys on Vietnamese students and graduates to monitor the transition from higher education to labour market and the employment status of the graduates and by promoting research in the field of higher education, labour market, outcomes of the higher education sector, relation between education and society, public policies.
The Center is supported by the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam.
The main mission of the Center is to disseminate surveys reports, to promote research activities and networking, to foster a better match between demand for and supply of qualified human capital and to improve placement services provided by its belonging organizations.
It counts on a unique students and graduates database exploitable to run statistical surveys on students’ university experience and satisfaction and on graduate tracking.
The data collected through the recently concluded Erasmus+ VOYAGE project involving 3 Vietnamese partner universities have been merged with the data collected through the ongoing Erasmus+ MOTIVE project involving 6 new Vietnamese partner higher education institutions (HEIs). At now the database involves more than 25 associated HEIs.
Furthermore, the Center for graduate tracking is hosting a working paper section, created within Erasmus+ MOTIVE Project, for allowing students, new graduates, researchers, experts in the field of higher education, graduates studies, labour market and international cooperation to promote the visibility of their work.
One value added of the project stays in the creation of a stakeholders’ network at disposal of the Center for tuning up surveys on students and graduate tracking surveys in accordance with HEIs’ and firms’ requirements.
